Teen Fringe
applications for the 2023 Teen Fringe are now open!
Teen Fringe is a youth arts initiative for teens aged 12-17, inviting young artists to train with leading professionals in acting, singing, dancing, and writing. This program is a partnership with the Toronto Fringe and Edge of the Sky, the creative team (Artistic Director, Ann Merriam) from the award-winning Wexford Gleeks and Fringe hits Summerland, The Fence, and Blood Ties.
The Teen Fringe program is generously supported by Neville Austin.
The 2023 Teen Fringe program will include:
- 5 days of in-person training with leading theatre, music, and dance professionals
- A final performance on Saturday July 15th (if you choose not to perform, you are still expected to attend as an audience member)
- FREE Rush Pass to the 2023 Toronto Fringe Festival
Schedule
- Mon July 10 - Fri July 14th from 12pm-4pm @ Trinity St Paul's Church, 427 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M5S 1X7
- Saturday July 15th from 10am-4pm @ the Tranzac, 292 Brunswick Ave, Toronto, ON M5S 2M7
Teen Fringe has space for up to 20 participants and is free. We are also offering a scholarship of $100 for all participants accepted into the program.
