This solo-show follows a woman’s journey entering veterinary school eager to help animals, only to discover a helpless animal trapped within its walls. Exploring the bond between animals and humans, and the cost of staying true to one’s compassion in an indifferent world, this tribute to women as healers invites audiences to witness how saving others can sometimes save ourselves. A Croatian immigrant to Canada, Vica, a charismatic and infectious performer, brings a compelling voice to the ongoing conversations around mental health, animal rights, and systemic failure. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to Promised Land Animal Sanctuary.
