Elementary school can be tough: Your cootie-catcher's gone all cryptic, your recorder's started barking, and it turns out the victim of your egg-drop experiment had a wife and family and they want answers!
80% clown show, 40% sketch comedy, 10% macaroni art, and 22% we haven’t learned to do percentages yet, this whirlwind comedy follows the (class) clowns of Mallowmarsh Elementary as they battle their way through the snack-time stock exchange, the horrors of health class, and the rough and tumble world of indoor recess to answer the age-old question: I know you are but what am I?

Audience participation details
This production features what we like to call, "gentle participation" from the audience. Prior to the performance audience members will be invited to complete simple "homework assignments" (such as filling in a blank or doing a simple drawing). Throughout the performance the audience as a whole may be polled for a response, the performers may enter the area where the audience is seated, and may invite audience members to participate in short games, or to circle a response on a form. At no point will an audience member be required to leave their seat. Audience members are encouraged to join in the fun, but are welcome to opt out of participation at any point.
Sensory description
"Milk Milk Lemonade" is a fast-paced comedy made up of multiple short scenes and sketches. It is non-narrative and instead depicts multiple characters in an array of situations within elementary school. Two actors play multiple characters; they wear "base" costumes and add accessories such as hats or hair clips to indicate a change of character. They wear red clown noses throughout most of the show.
Some sections of the show have no dialogue and are entirely movement-based, while other sections rely more heavily on dialogue.
There are sound effects, including a voice played over the speakers giving instructions and warnings to the characters on stage.
One section of the show includes multiple quick blackouts between scenes.
Some scenes involve food--including candy, icing, carrots, dry macaroni, and a raw egg--which may result in mild food smells.
