Special thanks to the George Cedric Metcalf Charitable Foundation for funding the Fringe's Development & Marketing Coordinator as part of their Strategic Initiatives grants program. Their support has been instrumental in the festival's three-year transition into an increased public and community profile, and in allowing the Toronto Fringe to expand its activities to accommodate the growing need and demand for independent theatre production opportunities in Toronto. We commend the George Cedric Metcalf Charitable Foundation for their ongoing commitment to strengthening the non-profit sector and Canada's cultural fabric with programs that demonstrate integrated thinking and innovative approaches.

The Fringe is always looking for new partners that are interested in supporting an exciting summer festival that supports the development of theatre artists. The Fringe relies on its supporters to function. With 100% of festival box office returned to the performers, all production costs such as venue rental, festival publicity, technical equipment, staffing and more must be funded by other sources. If you would like to help, here are some of your options:
Corporate Sponsors: The Fringe tailor-makes sponsorship packages to suit the interest and commitment of each of our partners. Click here for general statistics, demographics and recognition opportunities. If your company is interested in receiving more information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact development@fringetoronto.com.
Program Advertising: 15,000 official Fringe programs are distributed free of charge throughout the GTA for approximately 6 weeks, June-July. The purchase of an ad in the program is a great, affordable way to reach a broad audience with your company information while also supporting the Fringe! For more information, contact: development@fringetoronto.com.
Donations: Download Donation Form (Adobe Acrobat Reader required)
Donate $10 or more and you can become a Friend of the Fringe! Not only will we love you, you will be helping develop theatre artists and patrons in our community now and in the future. If you would like to become a Friend of the Fringe, please fill out and return the donation form. For your donation we will provide you with a charitable tax receipt, include your name in our Fringe Program and in June we will mail a copy of the Fringe Program right to your home. For every donation we receive, we are eligible for a matching donation from the Ontario Arts Foundation. You may even be able to double your donation again if you work for an organization that offers a matching gifts program – check with your company.
Volunteer: The Fringe of Toronto Theatre Festival would not be possible without the support of its 350+ volunteers every summer. Not only do they help fill the 900+ volunteer shifts needed to get the festival up and running but their enthusiasm and dedication are two of the ingredients that make the Fringe Festival an enjoyable and friendly experience for patrons, performers and staff.
