10x10x10 and Paprika Partnership
10x10x10 Youth Outreach Program
10x10x10 engages youth throughout the GTA at three levels, helping to develop a new generation of Fringe supporters and artist-contributors, while also engaging them more broadly with the arts in our city.
10 = 10 youth from the Paprika Young Artists Festival, mentored in a production showcase at the Fringe.
Through our partnership with the Paprika Festival, the Fringe will provide a showcase slot at the Toronto Fringe for 10 young artists in a production that they have created. Along with production support and being provided with a mentor, the young artists involved will keep 100% of the box office, just like any senior Fringe artist.
10 x 10 = 100 youth from the Paprika Festival and other young artist groups given Youth Passes to the Next Stage Festival and an opportunity to network with artists in the festival.
Youth Passes allow under-21 artists and arts-lovers selected for the program to see all eight productions at Next Stage for free, ticket availability permitting. Along with the 100 passes distributed to young artists, Next Stage will host a series of networking events and conversations that will help create connections and relationships with the more established artists performing in the festival.
10 x 10 x 10 = 1000 Youth Passes to the Toronto Fringe distributed to community groups and arts organizations.
With a focus on engaging young people who aren’t normally interested in the arts, 1000 passes will be distributed across the GTA for free admittance to up to four Fringe Festival productions per pass (pending ticket availability). While half of the passes will be handed out to individuals to use freely, half will be held back to accommodate small group bookings by organizations to help make the tickets as easy to use as possible.
